Dr. John Churchill is a dharma teacher, mandala architect, and scholar/practitioner for the Fourth Turning Planetary Dharma.

Born in London, John’s interest in psycho-spiritual development, Integral theory, and Mahayana Buddhism began in adolescence, when he received the Planetary Dharma transmissions that would unfold as his contribution to a planetary fourth turning teaching.

John studied Buddhist Psychology as a monk at Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland, then spent 15 years training in “Great Seal” meditation under Dr. Daniel P. Brown. He is a founding member of Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute.
For 25 years, John has developed Fourth Turning Planetary Dharma—a somatically based contemplative path integrating psychodynamic healing, adult development, and meditation, including a redesigned Nine Stages of Calm-Staying practice and Embodying the Open Ground.

John holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College.
