Our hope for the future requires our full engagement. There are real evolutionary unfoldings that we need to contribute to. At the same time, paradoxically, the future human is an involutionary realization that points to who we already are right now. Imagining our realization as a future event can obscure the truth of our deepest heart in this very moment. To show up for the future asks us to be truthful about what we already know and who we already are.
A practice of truthfulness in this moment is at the heart of our presence for the future we imagine. Truthfulness has us show up fully in what life is calling us to, with humility, innocence, reciprocity, and diligence. Releasing into and engaging with a commitment to the truth gives rise to an effortlessness in the face of our most complex challenges.
We will engage in an exploration of what it is to live truthfully at a time when we are confronted by so many ways to distract ourselves from our deepest and simplest truths. Learn how embracing what is, inwardly and outwardly, leads us to humility, allowing release, opening, and movement. Learn the ways we can avoid intimacy with the truth and discover the body’s intelligence to guide you towards that which liberates our withholding. How do we realize the future human? In part, by learning how we avoid our deepest truth right now and begin to show up as the human we long for. The workshop includes learning distinctions, reflection, inquiry, dialog, coaching and specific practices we can engage with in life.
