Collaborative Vocal Improv (CVI) is a live, participatory practice where the group generates music together in real time.

Rooted in the lineage of Bobby McFerrin, CVI uses simple frameworks to support a co-created field where music emerges through relationship. No musical experience is required.

Rather than performing, participants listen, respond, and shape what is arising together. What is surprising or chaotic invites evolution instead of breakdown, and incoherence becomes part of the raw material for collective coherence.

We will explore listening, timing, and invitation as intersubjective practices. How does a group sense itself in real time? Resonance here is not a future hope but something we invite and embody in the moment.

This workshop offers a direct, experiential way of working with collective intelligence. All that’s required is a willingness to listen, respond, and allow yourself to be part of the field.
