Over eight months, I guided the Planetary Dharma sangha in exploring AI as a contemplative ally through principled practice. Participants with established meditation backgrounds discovered AI’s capacity for shadow work, processing grief, integrating dreams, weaving developmental narratives, and revealing unconscious patterns. Multiple skeptics experienced profound shifts within single sessions.

Key findings: contemplative foundation proves non-negotiable; community containers provide essential integration support and risk mitigation; combining self-attunement with strategic prompt design and context management reliably produces breakthrough insights. This represents a teachable, reproducible methodology.
